However, the common dishwasher is far from perfect. One way that loading and unloading dishes from a dishwasher can be a bit more annoying than unloading a countertop dish rack: it requires repeatedly bending over. The way a conventional dishwasher opens can also infringe upon limited floor space, making small kitchens feel even smaller and requiring acrobatics to reach the cabinets around the open door.
Integrated household design company Henrybuilt is one such organization, casting its watchful eye over its clients’ living requirements to come up with tailor-made solutions for every room in their homes. From kitchens to living rooms and bedrooms, Henrybuilt prides itself on providing holistic answers to the daily questions of household living. Their new product, the Vertical Bar Block, is the latest string to their ever-expanding bow of domestic problem-solving.
You’ve also got eye-level views of the racks, and the ability to position the dishwasher directly next to the sink for even more convenience. As the designers note, the vertical design eliminates the need for a watertight seal around the door, which can be one of the weakest points of a front-loading dishwasher.
Many kitchens that aren’t equipped with custom features from the get-go often end up with annoying pockets of unusable space. These “dead zones” most commonly occur between the fridge and the storage units or at the end of a counter. Thanks to Henrybuilt’s new Vertical Bar Block, these leftover spaces can be filled in and fully utilized.
“It is a part of the house that is very essential but it occupies a big space and not everybody uses it the same way. The Gali kitchen is the intention of letting each individual distribute their space as they want having everything necessary to cook when wanted or needed but allowing the living space to embrace new possibilities such as nomadic life, as Gali can be taken apart in four modules so you can pack it as part of your luggage when moving.”
GeniCan is easy to install on most square or rectangular garbage cans, and the idea is simple. When you finish an item and are ready to toss the package in the trash, GeniCan scans the bar code and adds the product to a digital shopping list that travels with you to the store on your phone. If it can’t sense a code, it asks you what it should add to your list so you never forget what you need.

Narrow design of these small baskets lets you save more room for bigger dishes or pots. Detergent dispenser and rinse agent dispenser is in front of the machine in a reachable place. In front of the machine there is a line of LEDs. When you see this light bar from the doorway or other rooms, you can understand which cycle the machine is working on.”
Matt used Ikea kitchen units as the basis for both the kitchen itself and the adjacent lofted bedroom, which elevates the king-sized bed platform over the walk-in closet and a cabinet full of folded garments. A large, clear pane of glass separates the bed from the kitchen to maintain views through the window and allow daylight to penetrate the entire space. In the kitchen, a long stretch of countertop connects from the stovetop to another small cabinet unit, enabling the residents to use it like a bar.
